I love my religion!

Religion can help or hinder you in your own spiritual journey that ultimately leads to self-realization and God. Are you happy with your religion or is it bothersome? Do you attend church or a religious service more out of habit than want? Do you feel spiritually fulfilled or content with your life? I know I do with mine, and my religion is to thank; it gives me the sense that I am an active world citizen and that my actions do make a difference. I feel most inebriated with the love of God during times of prayer and totally enraptured by the power of the holy scriptures of all the world’s religions. I become immersed in an ocean of God’s awesome power when I attend Baha’i forums, conferences, and camps; they compel me to do my best in all things and exercise patience and compassion when dealing with others. I have met the most wonderful and interesting people because of my religion, people who I know love me for who I am, and that I do not intend to lose touch with. I understand that many of you adhere to other religious doctrines or do not believe in the Divine Mystery, that intangible and indescribable presence that is the Quintessence Of Love, the Driving Force of the universe and all its creation. Please share your thoughts by replying to this post, I will not antagonize anyone or try to argue against your beliefs.

Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration. The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the same as that which a subsequent age may require.
