I've played with ad positions a lot and while I no longer use YPN! I find that placing ads right beneath navigation always pays off. Sometimes it's better to have a higher paying ads than relevant ads especially if they don't click much on the ads even if they are relevant the site in question had a really low CTR. YPN ads were so horrible I yanked them off my site as soon as possible - relevance was bad, and hence CTR was much lower than AdSense (and hence revenue was far less).
