Work Experience:
September 2010-Present: Lead Web Developer
Ideum.com, Inc., Corrales, NM.
Created custom content management solutions for information-intensive projects and large database back-end integrations. Handled all back-end development of NSF-funded Open Exhibits. Designed and implemented search engine optimization and social media marketing strategies.
August 2005-February 2011: Web Consultant, Web Developer
Justia.com, Inc., Mountain View, CA.
Extended and modified various blogging software and content management systems (CMS). Worked on revamp of LLRX.com, LLC; JurisPro, Inc.; and the Justia legal portal.
January 2005-Present: Founder
Wizards.pro, Palo Alto, CA.
Developed web-based applications utilizing PHP and MySQL. Ported various themes/templates to work with Drupal, WordPress, and MoveableType. Designed XHTML and CSS standards-compliant websites. Worked extensively with the PHP framework, CodeIgniter. Handled SEO and marketing. Wrote regular expressions for screen scraping and clean URLs (i.e. Google-friendly links).
January 2004-Present: Founder
Hogwarts Live RPG, Albuquerque, NM.
Programmed modules, wrote game scenarios, and managed over 30 staffers. In 2007 it received more than 40 million hits a month. According to Hitwise.com, it was the 3rd most popular U.S. gaming website in terms of average session time and is still the most popular site of its kind according to Alexa.com. It is frequented by players of more than 150 countries. In 2009 it was featured in the July issue of Family Circle magazine.
June 2003-August 2004: Global Administrator
Mari Telecommunications, Inc., Seoul, South Korea.
Worked remotely as a volunteer administrator for the American server of MariTel’s game Archspace.com. MariTel’s MageWar family of MMORPG’s won game of the month 3 times on MPOGD.com and had over 2 million members playing in 12 different languages.
