If you’ve read my about page you may have noticed that I’m half Filipino – not that it’s important to understanding my reason for posting this, as human suffering is something that should affect us all in some way. I recently spent a couple weeks in the Philippines and as always I was greeted by the extreme hardships the children of poverty are forced to endure day after day. While the Philippines has many beautiful places, the video below gives you a glimpse of the indigence that ravages the third world. It’s in Tagalog with English subtitles and I must say may be potentially disturbing for some.

I have been to the Philippines 3 times in the last year doing missions work with a center for street kids called face the children. My family and I sponsor a young girl who lived on the streets and was raped, she had her baby with the help of the center and us and she has never been happier. There are so many street kids around the world. If only everybody could spend a bit of their time and money we could rescue so many.
God bless you for your warm and ocmpassionate heart.
I hope to graduate college and become a missionary to help street kids.
I am always praying.
I was in the Philippines for a month with the lady I plane to marry. I saw the povery . It was very sad to see how so many kids have you live. Not only in Manila also in the provinces . Every place i went they shared what that had with me. I return home wishing they was some way to help there i was thinking how could I raise money to go back an try make a differance for some. Any one with ideals on that. I may return there try living there.ANY ONE ABLE TO HELP PLEASE DO SO, HELP IS NEED THERE>
nang makita ko ang vedio ng the canvas of society. talagang nahbag ako, at nasabi ko sa sarili ko na wala pala akong karaptang maghangad ng sobra sa inaasahan ko.pero ma-ialis nyo po ba sa akin ng mangarap.dahil isa rin po akong rape victim whene i was thirteen yrld. at hangang ngayon di ko pa nakikita ang anak ko, kasi kinuha sya sa akin, since he was born.at dahil dyan ay di pa ako nakabangon sa bangongot na yan. di rin po ako nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral, ta kaya ako nangarap na magkaron ng pera na higit sa kailangan ko kasi gusto kong makita ang anak ko. he was born on oct.03,1992 when i was 13yrld. and now im running 34. sana ngayong darating na pasko ay makasama ko ang mga anak ko. sana ito yong daan para magkaroon ng katuparan ang mga pangarap ko. di ako naghangad ng kayamanan sa mundo, all i want is to live with my 3kids with a good job, to have a pinacial support for them… im hopping that they somebody who can give me help!!!
